Happy Friday guys! It's DAY of the Vegan Xmas gang and we have a very delicious recipe for you featuring our vegan Choc & Hazelnut Spread!
Today our good friend @theurbancanteen has created these insanely delicious Chocolate and cinnamon banana bread muffins. These yummy treats feature our Chocolate and Hazelnut spread inside and a little extra for the top to take them to another level.
Really simple, quick and fluffier than air! Adding cinnamon brings a lovely flavour to these bad boys, so don't leave that festive little spice it.

•2 tbsp Mindful bites Chocolate & Hazelnut spread (extra for topping)
• 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp baking powder
• 2 cups of plain flour
• pinch of salt
• ½ cup of light brown sugar
• ¾ cup of plant based milk
• 1 tsp of vanilla extract
• a few hazelnuts
•Preheat your oven to 180°c.
•In a bowl mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
• Mash the bananas in another bowl with a fork, add the brown sugar and stir well.
•Now add the chocolate & hazelnut spread to the banana mix, along with the vanilla extract and stir in.
•Pour in the milk to your banana mixture and stir well.
•Now stir in the wet ingredients into your dry ingredients. Fold in the mixture with a spoon gently. Do not over mix
•Grease a muffin tray or lay out your muffin liners onto a tray.
•Now fill each muffin case almost to the top, put in the oven for approximately 18-20 minutes depending on the size of muffin cases, if they are small then slightly less time), as long as a skewer come out pretty clean then you are good.
•When cooled, top with a little more chocolate spread and crushed hazelnuts and enjoy!
